HIM STRIPTM
PVC strips are extruded in a variety of types and grades. The best
material and the latest technology has been combined to produce strips of
highest quality giving excellent clarity with no sharp edges and a high
surface finish. A range of thickness can be produced within the standard
strips width of 200mm, 300mm and 400mm to suit any industrial requirements.
Commercial Application :
It is available not only in clear crystal grade but also in many
translucent and opaque colors. These welding screens can be used in work
areas to protect against ultra violet and infrared light.

Welding Screens is available in following colors having different
applications.
- Clear Transparent - For normal use such as thermal dividers,
partitions.
- Clear Transparent Polar - For cold rooms.
- Green / Bronze Screen - Translucent for ultra violet and infrared
light reduction for welding screens .
- Red / Orange - Translucent and opaque for warning and corner
strips.
- Black Opaque - Conveyors etc.

Welding Grade :
Welding flash is dangerous to unprotected eyes. Dark green self
extinguishing strips has long proved its ability to eliminate harmful
ultraviolet transmission but still allow vision in and out of the welding
area.
Now for the first time in India, bronze welding
HIM
STRIPSTM is available as
well. This will cut out 99% of UV transmission but its near transparency
allows almost the entire light spectrum by giving excellent two-way vision.
Welding bronze is particularly recommended when maximum visibility is needed
for safety and supervision reasons.
Cold Storage Doors:

screen. Their ability to cut heat loss for busy external doorways by up to

charts, linear footage factoring chart and overlap configurations for the
light traffic interior doors and heavy traffic exterior doors. The order
specifications can be calculated with the given "Determine Linear
Footage" instructions.
The given data offers a resource of information that is needed to determine

STRIP material. The customers have an
option of choosing a wide range of strip material in different sizes in six
different overlap patterns based on the door height, location and kind of
traffic. It is suggested to apply minimum strip overlap for interior doors,
maximum overlap for exterior doors and heavy-duty traffic applications.
Actuate the Linear Footage
Note: Round figures to be taken for width and height measurements (i.e. 11'
2" should be 12')
Step 1: The required strip width and overlap percentage for the strip door
needs to be determined.(see charts and drawings above).
Step 2: Ascertain the linear footage factor using the numbers given.
Step 3: Multiply the linear footage factor by the strip door width (in
feet) and you get the number of strips required for the strip door.
Step 4: The number of strips required is to be multiplied by the strip door
height (in feet) and you get the the number of linear feet of strip material
required for the strip door.
